Indonesian Language Education, UNS – During the Covid-19 pandemic and post-pandemic, speech theater performances are urgent to be re-appointed as an alternative that has high educational value in the world of children. The stories that are shown in the form of Javanese Punakawan puppets tell the love of the nation education that is easy to understand for children. Stories with this “pitutur” need to be presented to maintain the attitude of the children so that they can always cultivate an attitude of love for the nation.
On Sunday, August 22, 2021, a drama video was made by collaboration between lecturers of Indonesian Language Education and DKV lecturers at Sebelas Maret University. The demonstration was assisted by M. Syaifun Nur (videographer and editor), Arrie Widhayani, M.Pd., Choliq (makeup artist), and the players (Indah Febiani, Siska Aprilia, Dedek Ninis Nofita Sari, Nathania Solekha Kusuma Putri, Azizah Nurul , Devian Aditya Dewangga.
The drama’s appearance tells the story of a clown who introduces several national-based sciences, as an effort to raise awareness to today’s children to cultivate an attitude of love for the nation and foster a sense of nationalism.
